- 1941 (Barbarossa) Infantry Platoon Regular = +3
- 1941 (North Africa) Schutzen Platoon Regular = +2
Late War
- Infantry Platoon Green = -5
- Infantry Platoon Regular = 0
- Panzer Grenadier Platoon Regular = +3
- Panzer Grenadier Platoon Elite = +9
- Fallschirmjager Platoon Regular = +5
- Fallschirmjager Platoon Elite = +14
Britain
Early War
- 1940 Infantry Platoon Regular = -3
- 1940 Infantry Platoon Green = -7
- 1940-41 (North Africa) Infantry Platoon Regular = -1
- 1941 Far East Infantry Platoon Regular = -1
- 1941 Far East Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders Elite = +4
- 1941 Far East Canadian/HKVDC Green = -6
Late War
- Infantry Platoon where the Lieutenant has a pistol = -1
- If the officer has a Sten or Thompson then this increases to = 0
- Motor Rifle Platoon = -1
- Airborne Platoon = +9
USA
- Infantry Platoon = +0
- Armored Rifle Platoon = +2
- Parachute Infantry Platoon (2 squads) = +4
- Parachute Infantry Platoon (3 squads) = +10
- 1942-43 USMC Type D Platoon = -1
Notes on US forces: In the infantry platoon the BAR team should have ONE crew and two riflemen. Their list is costed accordingly.

I get the impression that the original ratings were based on playtesting and a bit of subjective guesswork. Now that the game has been out there a while some of the feedback (particularly regarding the rating of the German Panzergrenadiers) has suggested that they needed a tweak.
